Battleship Beach

Thank goodness it's friday... It's been a long week, but at the same time it went fast. Nonetheless I'm glad it's the weekend. Exhausted as we were, Jason and I decided to go for a walk at our favourite wharf... I actually proposed to him there (after he had already proposed to me... it was actually that I gave him his Christmas present there which was a Titanium ring, and jokingly proposed to him...) anyways, so we were walking along and we found a little beach along the river! We began skipping rocks and watching the sun set behind the Port Mann bridge, and of course keeping an eye out for those flippy sturgeons who like to jump and do flips. (The main reason we love that wharf) When we spotted something drifting along in the water we decided to throw rocks at it.... it was really small though and even Jason with great aim couldn' t quite hit it... eventually it got away, much to our dismay. So Jason threw in a piece of driftwood. We referred to it as the "Battleship" and when a rock hit it we said "you sunk my battleship!" ... We decided Battleship Beach would be a good name for this beach. So if you are ever as bored as we were and feel the need to throw something like I did at the time, I think Battleship Beach would be a good idea.

Jason sure does know how to cheer me up. Good thing I have a bestest friend like him. :)
