The world hates me

That was my slogan yesterday... and today too I suppose although Heather did just make me feel a lot better. Maybe only half the world hates me. Yesterday though, I fully believe that the world hated me. Saturday night I woke up at 3:00am feeling terrible... I spent the next hour and a half trying desperately to fall back asleep in hopes that the yucky feeling would disappear. It didn't. After my mad dash to the bathroom I did fall asleep again... I kinda had thought maybe it was something I ate, maybe from Frogstone? But alas, I woke up feeling kinda yucky... Thinking maybe I could make it through church I got up and got ready to go but apparently God didn't want me to sing that day, unless it was singing to the toilet. I'll spare you the details of course, but I must say that big props go out to my future husband who came over and stayed with me all day, even went and got me popsicles and made me chicken soup in the evening when I finally felt like I could keep some food down. He even told me how beautiful I was (and if you'd seen me you would know how unbelievable that was) He's a keeper.

Today I came home from work because I realized in the 2 hours I was there just how much energy it takes to work with children. I think I only really realize that when I have NO energy. So I think I'll spend the day packing up the rest of my room and organizing... and maybe later I'll have a nap...

PS. the highlight of my weekend was the walk-off during choir rehearsal, I'm glad I wasn't sick for that. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to Heather's blog. OHh!! and my other highlight was what the Easter Bunny brought me! I got those wicked cheese graters from Ikea, with the grater lid over the container! :) Hooray for house stuff!
